Intiative From CVR students .

hii friends, this is regarding placements.it is important that we jot down our problems so that no one points their finger on
us when we are either talking to the management(i.e Mr.raghava) or planning any kind of protest. Here is the letter
to mr.raghava providing him a clear picture of our problems...this is a letter written by each and everyone who is
desperate about placements......and the reply frm raghava sir will be forward to everyone and next step will be decided based on reply...
.hope everyone will cooperate.... and remember there would also be support from faculty. All the students forward the same mail to

sir,
we are pleased to inform you that the management and the faculty of our college has been excellent bringing laurels to
our college and playing a major role in placing the college in a position where we are now. But it is sad to inform you
that there is a serious problem of placements in our college.
we would like to put forward few incidents that took place in last few days to provide you a clear picture of
our problem:

>> The management had taken a good initiative by offering campus recruitment training during our semester break
during which we were promised that we will be recruited through ON-campus by various reputed MNC's. This never
happened.

>>The only company which we had an oppurtunity to attend was wipro which unfortunately could recruit only 29 of more
than 250 eligible candidates.Before the interview we were promised that atleast 150 of us would be recruited but
things happened otherwise.

>>we were initially told that we could attend an App associates off campus interview at gokaraju Rangaraju institute.
but later we were informed that we were not eligible.The reasons for this were never told.

>> The management has taken a step ahead to collabrate with stc institute to offer training in testing
tools course at Rs.6500. but its pity to learn that a college of CVR's standards need to depend on a training institute
for its placements which is not the culture followed by any other college. This course is offered to us when we
are busy with various competitive exams and is almost impossible for us to concentrate on an additional course
amidst the semester,project. Moreover, such a training is definitely not for a student studying a professional
course like btech that too in a reputed college like CVRCE.
Many other colleges including recently established colleges are having a good record of placements either through
oncampus or offcampus or through jkc. If necessary we can provide the statistics to make you aware of the complete
scenario.ardhaman ,bhoj reddy,bvraju,st,mary,malla reddy,tkr etc colleges which are ranked par below cvr have shown good
increase in pplacements and the case has been reverse with our college. For example , Aurora's institute of technology had
infosys visiting their campus and recruiting a good number. They are expecting Satyam and Accenture next week , around
6 companies recrutied students frm vathsalya ..there are many more to mention
we have joined the college with the main intention of getting placed in an mnc as it is stated that the students of
cvr were placed in many reputed mncs in the college website. And there are many of us who dont hve any other option
except placement. Practically, all of us can't afford to do MS though it is nice to hear that the management is encouraging
higher studies abroad.
An important thing to mention , frankly speaking , neither the students nor the faculy have trust in the PO , there are
many examples to quote.

We believe that there are many deserving candidates in our batch whose future is in jeopardy. we would like you to look
into this matter at the earliest and take a very imporant step towards our safe future which otherwise may not only affect
our batch but also bring down all the efforts put by this mangament to bring it to one of the top thus reducing its
popularity during this year's engineering counselling. This is really a serious issue sir..please reply to this mail on or before sunday
or address the students personally on monday else the consequences would be unexpeced.
